With AWOLPET.com, your pet's tag becomes flexible. You can update and change your personal and contact information using the User ID and password given to you at registration. If you travel with your pet or if your pet goes to a sitter, you can make those temporary adjustments. If you should move or change jobs, you can easily change your contact information. By being registered with AWOLPET.com, your pet's tag moves with you, making it easier to get your pet home.

As an AWOLPET.com member, you will also receive annual health examination reminders. From time to time, you may receive discounts on purchases of foods and products from partners of AWOLPET.com. Check out our People and Partners and Member Center sections.

Can I register my pet's microchip or tattoo code?

Yes. You can register your pet's microchip or tattoo code for an additional $1.00 per pet. You must register your pet's rabies tag or license before you can register your microchip. At AWOLPET.com, we believe that seen and unseen identification are important.

Can I register my pet's city/county license tag?

Yes. You can register your pet's city/county license tag and rabies tag for just $7.00 or you can choose to just register one tag for $7.00. AWOLPET.com has discounts for multiple pets as well.

What if my pet has daily medication needs?

AWOLPET.com allows you to register your pet's daily medication needs. Should your pet become lost and sick, the finder will be alerted to your pet's condition and medication needs.

What if a find a pet who has a rabies tag with AWOLPET.com information on the back, but no match is made?

Hundreds of veterinarians across the country are issuing rabies tag that have information about the vet clinic on the front and alerting the finder to AWOLPET.com on the back. However, it is the pet owner's responsibility to make sure their pet is registered with the AWOLPET.com system. Our system can only work if we are given the information. If no match is made, we recommend you provide information about the pet in our "found a pet" database. This will allow the pet's owner to search and see whether their pet has been found and if so, how to contact the finder.

What am I suppose to do with the red AWOLPET.com tag?

For best results, place the red AWOLPET.com tag on the same hook with your pet's rabies or license tag. The two tags should sit back to back so the front engraved sides won't rub against each other.

What if my pet loses its red tag?

You can request a new AWOLPET.com either by email at info@awolpet.com or by mail by writing AWOLPET.com, 6300 Main Street, PMB 401, Kansas City, Missouri 64113. Each replacement tag is $1.00.

How does AWOLPET.com work?

AWOLPET.com has created a powerful search engine that matches the information you provided at the time of registration with the information provided by the individual who finds your pet. By searching on your pet's rabies tag number, license tag or microchip code and other information, a specific match can be made to match you and your pet. AWOLPET.com only discloses your pet's name, your name (optional) and the contact phone numbers you provide (home, work, cellular). AWOLPET.com never gives out address information.

What if our state issues our rabies tag instead of a Veterinarian?

AWOLPET.com's search engine will match the information provided at registration with the information provided by the individual finding your pet. If the state, county or city has issued the rabies tag, the search engine will match rabies tag number and other information provided (which ever applies).
